Research theme

The main purpose of this laboratory is to clarify the molecular mechanisms o f tumorgenesis caused by the infection of human tumor viruses, specifically human T-cell leukemia virus and hepatitis C virus. Molecular and cellular bi ological analyses of the viral life cycle and effects of viral infection on the cell proliferation are under investigation.
